Millions of digitally illiterate and unconnected artisans in developing world do not get a fair share of the products they create as they are stuck in a centuries old exploitative system run by middlemen. Vceela creates an ecosystem which connects even the digitally illiterate and unconnected artisans directly to local and international markets, cutting out the middlemen, enabling artisans to extract the actual profits out of their products which they always deserved.15 % of the total workforce of Pakistan is associated with handmade sector. This sector is the second largest employer in Pakistan after agriculture. We are disrupting entirely how the traditional model in this sector worked through middlemen.
