As the only veteran Operations Supervisor at this startup facility, I was heavily involved in training the leadership team and the associates on processes that were new to the entire facility. Additionally, I contributed to modifications, acknowledging system errors, and process issues as we went through the growing pains. My main responsibilities included supervising, coaching and developing an average of 25 associates for six months out of the year, working with the team on various process improvement projects through the use of lean concepts, and managing cost-budget alignment with a major focus on flow control; in addition to leading my team of associates, the remaining six months of the year were spent on-boarding new associates for peak season, and involved interviewing, training, coaching and managing a team of over 300 associates.Developed a simple, yet effective plan to improve inventory accuracy that would save the facility $100k+ during the first year of implementation (see attached presentation)

As an Inventory Control Specialist, I worked with six clients' inventory, which consisted of an average aggregate of approximately two million units. My responsibilities included identifying and researching inventory accuracy issues and problem orders, finding the root cases to the discrepancies, and finding solutions to help increase inventory bin accuracy. During my time in this position, I helped improved inventory accuracy, which resulted in reducing the Cost Per Unit (CPU) average for outbound functions. As the lead in the Returns department, I supervised six associates by ensuring all orders were processed in a timely and efficient manner. I was able to organize the area by reducing waste, which subsequently made the processes for efficient, and reduced costs by twenty percent.

As a Freelance Writer, I wrote online articles based on Search Engine Optimization for private and public clients. Legitimate articles written with SEO-rich content had a higher visibility rate, which allowed my clients an increased traffic flow to their sites, and subsequently resulted in higher sales. Having worked with private clients as well as major retailers, I helped contribute to the increased sales by ensuring the information for products and services was visible by potential customers seeking the related information my clients' sites provided.

As a National Account Coordinator, my main responsibilities consisted of coordinating the entire relocation process from the initial consultation to handling damage and loss claims for employees from five major national accounts. Additionally, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery of their goods. The clients that were relocated ranged from new-start and transfer employees to high-level executives. From the initial consultation to the claims process, I was the main contact for more than 250 customers on an annual basis.

My main responsibilities as a Safety Coordinator for a relocation company--such as Armstrong Relocation--included ensuring all over-the-road drivers adhered to safety laws and regulations regarding drive time allowance, completed paperwork for proof of following drive time laws, regular truck maintenance and cleaning, and ensuring weight limits were not exceeded. The duties of this position were simultaneously performed with claims adjusting.

As a Claims Adjuster within a relocation company, I handled customer and client care on the front and back end of the moving process. I organized the proper documentation for proof of possession of damaged or stolen goods, including home inspection and property conditions checklists before and after the relocation. Responsibilities for this position involved remaining current with customer complaints, scheduling inspection appointments, following up with the customers and clients, and settling or denying the claim based off of final documentation and inspection.
