After starting my career in New Zealand working in the dairy industry, I have recently relocated back to US to continue to develop my skills. I have completed an in-depth dairy course, learning about the main product groups and process technologies of the dairy industry, resulting in a Master's of Dairy Science and Technology. My undergraduate and Master's degree was in Chemical Engineering.I have held several roles across technical, operations, and sales throughout my career.I have experience in multiple dairy products including protein, milk powders, organic products, cheese, and UHT beverages.I have worked across portfolios in several markets including China, USA, SEA, and the EU giving me insight to customers, challenges, and trends. In working at the world's largest dairy exporter, I have gained in depth experience in large scale manufacturing, operations, and supply chain throughout my career.Most recently, my focus has been in innovation and business development with large global brands and companies focusing on innovation in medical and pediatric foods.In my free time, I enjoy playing field hockey and soccer, as well as travelling and hiking. I also volunteer my time to promote younger school kids to get involved in the sciences.
