My work was in the Rotor systems technology department of Cummins turbo technologies. Most of my work revolved around turbocharger vibrations, the high speed core test and data analysis. Below is a brief summary of areas I worked on over the period of my internship,• Advised the High speed core test (HSCT) & balancing procedure • Analysed vibration data for the HSCT • Analytical simulation on Dyrobes• Designed & prepared the DOE & test plan for shaft tip motion sensor in HSCT• Performed a literature study on magnetic bearings & submitted a technical reportApart from the above, I also took part in various training offered by the company and volunteered for community service.

Kuwait

A hands-on experience on various parts of the automobile, basic service routines for each car, along with the removal of a V-12 engine of a Lamborghini Murcielago and its gearbox. Additional practice on the software provided by Volkswagen to check the working of various systems in their cars. As a supplement, access was provided to the Audi and Lamborghini database to improve understanding of automotive parts.
