Growing up in Minnesota, every summer (and often winter) was spent enjoying the many lakes and rivers available for public access. As far back as I can remember I have fished Minnesota lakes and I learned early in life the importance of clean and healthy aquatic systems and the impact invasive species and pollution can have. Summers playing on lakes led to summers working on lakes with the MN Department of Natural Resources surveying streams and working on a habitat/vegetation mediation project in Central Minnesota.In 2003, I moved to WA (the first time) and started working with AquaTechnex. Cutting my teeth with some of the best minds in the industry I am glad to be a part of keeping our lakes and waterways clean and safe for 13 years. I hope to be fortunate enough to work in this field and industry for many years.My free time is spent enjoying many of our local distractions. When there is snow I enjoy getting out on my board or allowing myself to be talked into a winter hike. I spend many a sunny summer afternoon on my road bike cycling around the Seattle and Lake Washington area. The many craft breweries in the Pacific Northwest allow me to indulge my love of IPAs.
