• Provided full epidemiological support for the maternal mortality review committee, including case ascertainment, implementation of the CDC data system, and analysis of quantitative data and committee recommendations.

• As a Research Specialist, I provided strategic and operational support to a wide-range of research projects on maternal mortality and morbidity and other women's health outcomes:
• Deployed a second statewide maternal mortality review committee for deaths due to violence (homicide, suicide, accidental poisoning/overdose) after my first-ever analysis of aggregated maternal mortality data found.
• Contributed to the development of, beta-tested, and trained new users on CDC data system for maternal mortality review data (MMRIA).
• Served as a contributor to all phases of research from study design, operational manuals and data collection forms, regulatory approval, data monitoring and analysis, and preparation of manuscripts for publication.
