Drawing on my educational background in Economics (BA) and Public Administration (MA), I bring over 10 years of experience in management roles within research organizations and the civil service sector in Kazakhstan. In particular, I was engaged in macroeconomic analysis, design of industrial policy, trade flows analysis and development of export promotion strategies.My main professional skill is the ability to synthesize diverse perspectives and critically evaluate them. I'm comfortable with using Excel and learning to use R and Python to apply my analytical skills. Additionally, I possess strong writing and presentation skills to effectively communicate information in a clear and analytically rigorous manner.An important part of my professional portfolio is the ability to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders. Having worked with high-level officials and participated in official negotiations, I have gained experience in delivering high-quality analytical work promptly, summarizing complex information and conveying it in an accessible form, as well as promoting my arguments in a persuasive manner.Finally, my professional interests are driven by my passion to analyzing effective country development strategies. This passion has taken me initially to the public sector, where I spent most of my career. Through this experience, I gained insights into the limitations of state-focused economic policies and developed an appreciation for strategies that harness the potential of free markets.
