BeMotion Inc is an international company based in Canada, with offices in the middle east. I was working in the Amman branch as a software engineer for the iOS platform, within a team of other developers and quality assurance professionals who are committed to deliver the highest level of quality and innovation in our projects. We offered strategic solutions that let companies tap into their full potential to maximize their efficiency by using the latest of what technology has to offer.

I worked in an agile team environment on a revamp of their app: Al Waseet, in a team of 4 iOS developers. The project included usage of Realm database as well as Firebase. We are also utilized teamwork-based tools such as GitHub and BitBucket for code sharing, and following principles of MVP for code structure to build clean, maintainable and reusable code. The Waseet app lets users share adverts across the Middle East to sell or buy various items, in a similar fashion to the likes of eBay and Open Souk. I implemented the localization system to provide the user with both Arabic and English interfaces for the app. I worked as a front-end software developer for various sections in the revamp. Our work was focused on the latest of what SWIFT 5 has to offer, but we also need to understand the underlying Objective-C code that was previously done in the old version and try to optimize it with new efficient SWIFT code. The Waseet app is available in the Apple App Store : https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1000200850

We worked on the iOS app called C.Zone through various stages of development in an agile team environment where each of us focused on different parts of the application. I focused on google maps integration, VISA online Payment systems, login through SMS/Firebase integration, calendar based booking system and also helped with trouble shooting issues in the app and performance optimization, as well as quality assurance. We used the MVC coding principle for this project and it was based on iOS 10.0 devices at the time. We used a JSON driven Back end Restful API system for storing and retrieving data. The app C.Zone was related to booking trips for leisure and fishing or other sea related activities in the kingdom of saudi arabica. The client we worked with was called manasat for Digital Technology. The app C.Zone on iOS can be found here : https://apps.apple.com/us/app/c-zone/id1388270184

I joined them as soon as I made my way back from Saudi Arabia, along with project manager Montaser Al-Sabbagh as a partner to oversea a new section of their company with a focus on promoting solutions related to availability management. We started to look new opportunities in Jordan. We focused our efforts on some of the big companies such as the housing bank of Jordan and royal Jordanian airlines, helping them to put plans to improve their network structure to meet modern availability standards. I performed two successful pilot project Installations. The first one was at Saudi Aramco which eventually resulted into the adoption of 30k users with to use the system we developed, which was based on control-SA from BMC software but with our own customizations. I was leading a small team located in Saudi Aramco’s Expec building, where we performed integration with mainframe, LDAP, active directory, Oracle and their human resources system. We had to work with different sections and teams from their side such as security analysts, database experts and also the end users to insure a perfect experience for the end user and to meet all requirements and standards requested by Saudi Aramco. My second second pilot project was based in Riyad Bank, which led to adoption of control-SA as well in Riyad Bank . We covered mostly the same platforms as the project in Saudi Aramco, but in addition we also covered the AS/400 platform. Some of my references include project manager Montaser Al-Sabbagh working on EJADA's side and projects manager Fahd al-ahmad working on Saudi Aramco as well as project manager Emad Al-hunaidi from Riyadh bank.

My responsibilities included technical pre-sales activities such as proof of concepts , demo installations and technical support during those periods when we are still in the early stages working closely with our client’s technical team in their datacenter. I also helped in management of the Local SBM LAN network, trouble shooting any WAN connectivity issues or general pc/printer trouble shooting, since our LAN Admin was often over-worked, and I would step in for him when he went for vacation.
