•Installing and configuring Linux servers in the network as per client specifications•Supervising and managing all the servers, Linux scripts on a regular basis and performing troubleshooting duties including testing & installing the latest softwares on the servers for end-users•Performing routine checks of the Linux servers and upgrading internal computer software & hardware•Maintaining relevant back-up of important files and documenting & recording Linux scripts for future reference•Managing squid proxy server and configuring the same•Performing additional duties such as troubleshooting software and hardware server issues and maintaining the same•Resolving DHCP, DNS, active directory network issues and troubleshooting windows if required•Proactively managing log/ SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol), and organizing BCP(Business continuity planning) activities as per schedule•Rectifying and implementing issues such as system log analysis, backups, network operating center security, user account/permissions management and systems/software auditing•Monitoring production systems, applications and network performance using various network management and other application monitoring tools•Managing daily activities like controlling user access, passwords/support and system administration tasks and maintaining data centers•Creating logical volumes and increasing the file system in Linux servers•Assisting in preparing, testing, designing, and editing of various computer programs•Transferring data between information processing equipment and systems
