Operating QSL-GP’s natural gas processing equipment. handles the operation of compressors, scrubbers, evaporators, heat exchanges, etc., to control the gas distribution and processing facility and ensure the maintenance of specified pressures and flow rates on gas delivery pipelines/facilities.• Calculate gas ratios to detect deviations from specifications, using testing apparatus. • Read and interpret log sheets to determine product characteristics or to detect malfunctions. • Record, review, and compile periodic (bi-hourly, 6-hourly, daily, weekly monthly, etc) operations reports, records, test results, and gauge readings such as temperatures, pressures, concentrations, and flow rates. • Optimize and adjust temperature, pressure levels, and gas flow rate. • Maintenance of facility/equipment. • Monitor and adjust temperature, pressure, vacuum, level, flow rate, and/or transfer of gas to maintain processes at required levels or to correct problems. • Monitor gas facility operations using panel boards, control boards and SCADA systems. • Control equipment to regulate flow and pressure of gas to feed lines of boilers, furnaces, and related steam generating or heating equipment at plant and customer locations. • Control the operation of compressors, scrubbers, purifying equipment, heat exchangers, and related equipment evaporators, etc. • Determine the causes of abnormal pressure variances and making corrective recommendations. • Monitor equipment functioning, observe temperature levels, and flow gauges, and perform regular unit checks, to ensure that all equipment are operating as they should. • Clean, maintain, and repair equipment, using hand tools, and change charts in recording meters. • Monitor movement and storage of inflammable and hazardous products to ensure that safety guidelines are followed. • Operate treatment plants, fluid separation equipment, valves, and gas measurement equipment. • Start and shut down plant equipment if required.
