About Al Ford
My strength is in explaining and communicating the recent and difficult technologies making it simple to understand and then apply for successful outcomes. Through professional training to present and facilitate executive briefings at a Fortune 50 company, I have presented C-level discussions and facilitated executive briefings that include AI, Cloud, Blockchain, and many other recent technologies.With 18 years in Channel Sales, Marketing, and Alliances I have a deep understanding of channel dynamics and the value each channel participant provides. I also bring 20 years of experience with Public customers recognizing their unique challenges in acquiring technology and knowing the missions they support are not always tied to ROI.Throughout my 25-year IT career, I have trained and have been a part of technologies that were transforming the industry. Today I am actively participating in an Open Compute Project that could fundamentally change High Performance Computing. This change needs to happen to lower energy consumed, provide lower latency, and support the data bus needed to deliver the right data to the right compute at the right location that supports real-time decision-making. This is especially helpful for AI and enabling new software techniques to be unshackled by legacy and expensive computing platforms.
