This included industrial emergency response to uncontrolled gas releases, vehicle accidents which occurred off-road in remote areas and response to wildfires in dry, remote bushland often caused by lightning strikes. Whilst doing so I was responsible for the deployment of personnel and equipment to mitigate injury, property damage and/or loss of containment. Other duties included assigning emergency equipment maintenance testing, performing firefighter and security officer training, conducting safety and security inspections and representing the company at emergency management briefings.Achievements: ♦ Developed and Rolled Out - Fit for Work Policy. ♦ Lead Trainer for Live-In Chinchilla Firefighting Training Facility.
