I am one of those people that makes sure your bags get on and off the plane when you do, and that your plane arrives and departs safely on time.Working part time behind the scenes for a major airline enables me to travel freely throughout the world and be anywhere in the U.S. in a few hours. I am fortunate to live near a major airport that is centrally located and well connected to all parts of the United States. The physical nature of the job helps keep me in shape, as I would rather be paid to exercise than to work out in a gym.

Started in Worldwide Reservation Sales in 2002 and upgraded to Platinum Elite Reservation Specialist in 2003. I joined the Marriott.com Internet Customer Care Department late in 2003 and held this position concurrently with other full-time and part-time jobs in automotive sales, casino poker dealing, and inbound retail telephone sales. I have gained a lot of expertise working with the Marriott reservations system, Marriott.com website, and Marriott Rewards in resolving guest issues with the website. During the last three years at Marriott, I returned to Reservations Sales as a home-based agent and worked out of my home office. I consistently ranked in the top 5 percent for reservations sales conversions and won an award for exceeding sales goals (top 2 percent) in 2009.

I have been dealing poker since 1985, when I started at Del Webb's High Sierra Casino in Lake Tahoe (now known as Horizon Casino/Resort). I was with Harrah's Lake Tahoe Casino from 1992 to 1997 before I moved to Colorado. I dealt poker at Harveys Wagon Wheel (now Fortune Valley) from 1997 to 1999. In 1999 I transferred to Harveys Council Bluffs Casino where I was a Poker Floor Supervisor and Dealer until Harrah's Entertainment acquired the property and closed the poker room in 2001. During my hiatus from the casino gaming industry, except for a few freelance poker dealing jobs, I was employed in reservation sales and automotive sales. I resumed my gaming career when Harrah's Entertainment launched the newly remodeled Horseshoe Casino, with the finest poker room in the Central States. As the general economy declined, my income also declined, and the work environment became increasingly hostile.

When I joined this company, my intention was to get into internet automotive sales. I received thorough training to be a new and used car salesman and worked the sales floor for six months. It took several months to achieve moderate success selling cars and a "tough" market environment. I was one of the top two producers in September, 2003. I left the company mainly because they did not consider me for a vacant internet position for which they hired from the outside.
