• Conduct engineering site visits to collect structural, electrical, and related siteinformation for use in the design of residential or commercial solar power systems• Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes toachieve solar design objectives• Develop design specifications and functional requirements for residential, commercial,or industrial solar energy systems or components• Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up,testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring• Prepare and review maintenance reports to insure all preventive maintenancemeasures and regular checks are done per contract agreement with clients• Design or develop vacuum tube collector systems for solar applications• Design or coordinate design of photovoltaic (PV) or solar thermal systems, includingsystem components, for residential and commercial buildings• Create manpower plan and follow up with electrical and structural supervisors,technicians, and labors needed to complete the Job per Clients needs
