CurrentProviding timely and accurate sales quotations, based on customer request.• Processing the sales orders and handling post-sales related activities which include purchasing, following up with the publishers, and distributors, and updating the order status to the customers.• Facilitate shipment status updates to customers by monitoring movement from origin to destination.• Acknowledging and processing purchase orders from clients all over the UAE.• Responsible for procuring/purchasing within the time frame, minimizing purchase cost, preparing comparison sheets & ensuring the cost-efficient timely procurement of Educational books all over the globe.•Coordinating, analyzing & reviewing the vendor quotes to process and prepare competitive quotations from multiple vendors & finalize PO accordingly.•Manage purchase orders and negotiate contracts with vendors to obtain optimum pricing, payment terms, and deliveries.• Track and follow up with the vendor to ensure timely delivery/collection of Purchase Orders, entering the purchase invoice into the ERP system & submitting the supplier’s invoice to the finance department.• Working on ERP Software (MS Dynamics 365) stock management, Inventory, Item Creation, Customer Creation, Vendor Creation, Sale Quotations, Purchase Quotations, Invoices and SO Confirmation.• Ensured all customer backorders and same-day PO requests were placed within the Inventory Planning. Any exceptions are being addressed and communicated where applicable.
