CINARS is a non-profit organization based in Montreal. Since 1984 (31 years) has been contributing to the international recognition of Canada's performing arts. Its mission is to encourage the development of new network and improve arts export marketing and promotion practices. The Biennale is the main CINARS event, bringing to Montreal presenters, producers, artists, agents, observers engaged in the performing arts, offering some showcases for Canadian and Foreign artists want to develop new markets for their productions. The platform also offers a serie of workshops and lectures on traveling productions in different countries. In 2014, the 16th edition of CINAR'S event featured 140 booths, 135 performances (drama, dance, music and circus), from 41 countries from Canada and abroad.
