About Alan Akira

I have a BS in Biology with a concentration in Molecular Biology. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with University and Departmental Honors. I've been trained as a bone biologist but am currently learning skills to become proficient cardiac scientist. I also have experience as a teacher which makes me able to translate complex science to any audience. My dream is to combine my discipline for research, excellence in communication, and passion for medicine to become a physician who is well rounded.
