My personal struggles and achievements as an immigrant inspire me to help future students to also pursue and achieve higher education. My MBA degree enables me to provide operational leadership and direction to support the academic department at Carrington College. My Bachelors in Psychology and Minor in Human Development provide me with adequate skills to counsel students, to listen to their specific needs and provide the appropriate resources. My previous position gave me the concrete knowledge to collect data, create reports, and analyze the outcome for future actions. I am comfortable creating workshops to fit the needs of the intended audience, deliver an interactive and effective presentation in front of any size audience, and collect the feedback to improve for the future. I want to be an advocate for underrepresented and underprivileged students because everyone deserves the same opportunities to achieve a higher education. I am confident that I can provide a safe and welcoming place for anyone to come and share their challenges and be assured that I will provide them with the tools, guidance, and resources to be successful.
