I have been working in public relations and communications for over two decades. Firstly, for the British Foreign Ministry, including in Russia, Liberia, Germany, Latvia and Slovakia. Then, for an international Non-Governmental Organisation based in Hungary, followed by small charities in the UK. Now I help NGOs through Cornflower Communications, and the majority of my time is spent tutoring public relations and communications apprentices, and communications practitioners doing their Chartered Institute of Public Relations professional qualifications, with Cambridge Marketing College. I host a podcast 'An Englishman in Latvia' and a weekly short podcast ‘Bite Size Comms’, I like posting thought articles about aspects of PR and I am a Chartered PR Practioner and a CIPR Chartership Assessor.
