The Finance Analyst will be responsible for undertaking a number of business activities in relation to the reconciliation of Supplier Accounts from the transition of legacy systems to the new Cost-point system.Review of our Supplier payment processes including, reviewing existing processes for Accounts Payable to develop new and modified Accounts Payable processes under the guidance of our Business Architect.The role will work with the Australian Supply and Finance teams to ensure that changed business processes for Accounts Payable are established successfully.Main Responsibilities & Requirements:• Analyse Accounts Payable/financial data from our sub contractor and accounts payable systems• Reconcile our Supplier Accounts to ensure correct processing of payments, identify and resolve issues and then put in places actions to mitigate these issues.• Report on supplier performance and preparation for regular leadership reviews• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial Accounts Payable reporting • Evaluate financial Accounts Payable performance by comparing and analysing actual results • Guide cost/Accounts Payable analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures• Recommend actions by analysing and interpreting financial Accounts Payable data and making comparative analysis• Identify and drive Accounts Payable process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and Excel dashboards• Extensive Procurement exposure to Cognos, SLICS, Concur, Cost Point and NPO/SPO systems.
