I am currently employed as an Intelligence Analyst in an operational role within a Major Crime Unit, delivering products in line with the National Intelligence Model. I ensure the effective development, maintenance and use of intelligence analysis within my area of responsibility.I am highly experienced in intelligence analysis at Levels 1,2 and 3, having served on a number of Basic Command Units as both an Intelligence Analyst and a Senior Intelligence Analyst. I regularly complete intelligence products at both strategic and tactical levels, identifying and prioritising risks.I have also worked as a Senior Intelligence Analyst at the Force Headquarters in both the Intelligence and Performance Fields as well as Special Branch, where my remit was to introduce NIM compliant Intelligence Analysis and associated working practices including a tasking and coordinating process.I have led working groups in order to develop the analytical community and designed and implemented new processes for the selection, recruitment, development and retention of |Intelligence Analysts. Additionally, I have served in a Special Projects role and have been involved in a number of high profile operations.I count my heavy involvement in the writing of the first Standard Operating Procedures for Intelligence Analysts in 2003 as one of my achievements.

As a manager/investigator in a busy office in the private security industry my duties were varied ranging from the management of a small office and active investigations. I have been responsible for managing a small vehicle fleet and rostering and deploying staff within the office, as well as acting as a central point of contact for customers.I have also carried out investigations for clients and the service of court documents.

When deployed on operational intelligence duties, I was responsible for the processing, interpretation, analysis and dissemination of information to command staff at all levels to inform their decision making process. While specialising in counter intelligence duties, I was employed in the identification of, and protection against, enemy intelligence operations such as espionage, sabotage, subversion or terrorism. This involved key skills in the areas of Security Intelligence and Protective Security.Key achievements were:The design of many complex security systems and procedures to ensure the physical security of installations.Carrying out detailed inspections and surveys.The investigation of a wide range of security breaches.Proactive investigations.Data Management duties.I served in the UK, Northern Ireland and Germany, amongst other places.
