I’m a functional design expert and I focus on the workplace industry. My passion is to be the lynch pin in the connection between technology and a healthy productive workplace. To help with this I give educational and fun, these can be either live or virtual.I'm an experienced Certified Speaker and if needed for designers in Australia, is CPD Certified through the Design Institute of Australia.I originally trained as a cabinetmaker in the shipbuilding industry in Scotland, then I was involved in the design and manufacture of furniture for interiors through-out the UK from warships to retail environments. Moved to NZ to take up a roll in the commercial furniture industry roles included a Directorship of one of the largest commercial furniture groups in Australia. In 2000 I was asked to join International furniture company Herman Miller. Roles included Market Manager Australia, rebranded HM's ranges of Classic furniture as Brand Manager Asia and A & D Manager, became Director of Herman Miller Australia in 2002. Awarded Herman Miller Cube Award for Sales Performance in FY 2001/2, 2003/4, 2004/5, 2005/6, 2006/2007 and 2007/2008. Left HM in 2009 and then worked with another iconic brand in Australia Thonet until I joined Ergotron, where I'm now Strategic Manager APAC focusing on the workplace.Specialties: Sales and Marketing for the furniture industry including distribution and dealer management
