I am a deputy manager majoring in carriage overhauls for a leading heritage railway in the UK. It involves me leading a team taking on full coach overhauls, to running repairs. Machining parts from scratch to quick running repairs and being able to design newer systems/techniques to be retrofitted and used on heritage stock. As well as this I am involved with the education of apprentices and new staff.I also own and run an events business called betalite where we supply companies and events across the UK with varying amounts of staging, lighting, sound systems, pyrotechnics and weddings. We major in supporting community events and charitable organisations. We have worked with customers such as BBC, ITV, Wyre Forest District Council, NHS Trusts, Commonwealth Games, and many more high flying customers.
