Ensure timely delivery of the full range of estate management services in compliance with contractual obligations. Responsible to the Contract Manager for the management and maintenance provision of the simulator building. Primary roles include:• Compliance with relevant statutory legislation, company policy and best practise.• Act as project manager for specifying and completing refurbishment or improvement works. • control waste management and environmental aspects / impacts ensuring that waste streams are efficiently managed. • Manage, monitor and control resident engineer, contract and sub contract labour using specialist knowledge of building services maintenance; co-ordinating all operations with other building users to minimise any disruption to the operational requirements of the facility.• Provide timely budgetary information to the contract manager for all devolved budgets.• Act as the appointed person for the regulatory reform (fire safety) Order.• Health and Safety officer responsible for the management and provision of an effective safe well disciplined working environment.• Act as communications manager responsible for soft and hard alterations to the installed infrastructure and systems. • Manage the planned maintenance system providing an assurance that the complex support systems satisfy close environmental control requirements protecting against the issue of contract imposed service penalties. • Perform any other tasks requested by the Contract Manager.
