BJ Enclosures Ltd, since December 2013, is wholly owned by Alan Doyle. We are the sole UK distributors of a complete range of GRP Enclosures manufactured by Cahors in Spain. Along with the Cahors range of products, we distribute a full portfolio of enclosures in steel and stainless steel, (manufactured by EAE, market leaders in Turkey), aluminium, die-cast aluminium and plastic. To compliment this range, we carry fans, grills, heat exchangers, air conditioning units, chillers and other enclosure/ panel related temperature management accessories (manufactured by Cosmotec in Italy), "off the shelf" in our warehouse in Petersfield, Hampshire.

I look after 80 branches of City Electrical Factors, from South Wales to Birmingham, Coventry, Reading and branches South and West of these locations.

At present I am doing a feasability study specific to the UK Electrical Industry for a European Company.

In 1997, with only £20,000.00 in hand, I managed to raise funding and supplier support to set up Alan Doyle Electrical Accessories in Clevedon. Growth was from £400,000.00 in 1998 (First full year) to £1,250,000.00 in 2002In the set up year of ADEA (Alan Doyle Electrical Accessories Ltd.), I managed to win several prestigious contracts to build combination units for, Telewest, BT Cellnet / O2, Millennium Dome, British Aerospace, contracts that would normally have been awarded to well established companies. Ultimately we were appointed as the NEWLEC Combination Unit Helpline along with several other NEWLEC contracts. As a result of winning these contracts, I successfully installed software to provide EDI (the ability to be able to invoice online) and upgraded the telephone system to provide direct dial facilities. EDI and direct dial was a requirement for the NEWLEC contracts and the helpline.

I took over as MD in 1988, at that stage the company turned over approx. £300,000.00 PA running a manual system. I computerised the business and grew it to a turnover of £1.6M with a net profit of £80,000.00 (Pre inter- co. adjustments) by the end of 1996.
