I am available for statistical and economic analysis consulting. My preferred projects are short-term, say 2 to 4 week's work over a month or two. I will consider shorter or longer assignments.In 2011 I analyzed voter roles for a NJ Assembly campaign, looking at the geographical distribution of likely voters, providing call lists by town, district, and affiliation, get out the vote (GOTV) lists, as well as walk lists so a campaigner could walk down one side of the street and back up the other side and know where the likely voters lived.Another recent task involved analyzing the quality of the next generation of cell phone codecs, including data management and screening, analysis, and report writing for 11 experiments each involving multiple labs per experiment, multiple listeners per lab, and multiple judgments per listener. In total there were over 100,000 judgments to be managed and analyzed.I am open to moderate travel, up to one week a month. With Telcordia, I traveled and worked as far east as Mumbai, India, and as far south as Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Quito, Ecuador.I have developed an Excel-based tool which facilitates economic analysis, automatically producing the most common economic measures given the Excel-modeled description of the products revenues, costs, and capital requirements over time.

As AT&T's divestiture in 1984 and other industry changes affected my employment, this position evolved from a researcher in statistics in Bell Laboratories, through new product development analysis with Bellcore, to an economic analyst/senior consultant with Telcordia Technologies. Employment was continuous, although my duties and the company name changed several times. In the last few years there, I developed economic models for estimating the probable success of new ventures, including electric utilities entering the telecommunications business (some could have been successful in niche services). In international consulting, I was part of a team that helped several national telephone companies evolve with the changing times. Our analysis of Andinatel helped them successfully enter Ecuador's mobile market.
