• Management of staff, personnel and Sub-Contractors undertaking site installation works during Possessions, Engineering and Traffic Hours• Works included: installation of Location case hard standings, mass-filled concrete signal bases, and signal / signage post erection. Mechanical bracketry, walkways, Troughing, core holes.• Progress-reporting and maintaining effective communication with the client• Forecasting resource requirements for differing stages of installation in sufficient time to ensure their timely provision• Good working partnership with the Commercial Team to ensure delivery is contractually compliant • Monitoring progress against the overall Project Programme and being proactive in mitigating adverse trends through undertaking effective corrective action• On-site and on-call management; undertaking site surveys with the client to agree on engineering solutions• Maintaining and monitoring safety in line with Health & Safety legislation and Company Procedures by undertaking safety audits and inspections• Bidding and estimating for all LUL / NWR tenders• Assisting clients with their estimating and bid submissions for major projects.

Working as part of the SMEP delivery team for Station modernisation and Refurbishment at Hounslow Central, South Ealing, Camden Town, East Finchley, Mill Hill East & Waterloo.Works included updating all the CCTV system installing PHP’s and EDNE units which required new CRMS being installed throughout each station.Other aspects of this project included vast amounts of premises work which required significant collaboration with English heritage.Due to some projects being a “One team” approach, I was heavily involved in Coordinating Contractors construction activities, I have also ensured critical documentation approval through LUL to enable construction commencement and actively been involved with organising the site office location set-up. Scoping sections of work for procurement to assist with the packaging of works for contractors to tender.Onsite responsibilities included monitoring contractors against programme to make sure any slippage is highlight at the earliest date. Liaising with affiliates to ensure that all assurance documents are up to date and recorded to run concurrently with the construction program. Processing and tracing project critical applications. Liaising with the commercial team to quantify work for payment. Compiling snagging / punch list and following the correct procedures to close out.

Management of the sub-contracted possession team and co-ordination and management of all construction issues on Form B design packs. Working closely with EPC to ensure team awareness of any issues which are discovered and that could impact their programme. Managing contractors to achieve project programmes with the assistance of onsite field engineers. Report back to Project after holding weekly meetings with Contractors management to ensure progress is achieved and eradicate any outstanding issues.

Initial surveying for cable containment to assist with the compilation of the works design packs and the compilation of construction method statements.Overseeing and coordinating civil installation works on the FTN project. Liaising with senior members of the client to overcome any design or construction issues which may arise.Development and production of internal documents and procedures to make the day to day running of the project more efficient.Managed project hand back to Network Rail which comprised collating specific documents detailing assurance and conformity to project specific standards. Site visits with Network Rail to walk them through all the installations providing them with the assurance that all construction activities have complied with the design criteria.
