CurrentEnvironmental• Air Permit – maintain an accessible copy of the current permit and be familiar with its conditions.• Compliance monitoring – review monthly particulate emissions calculations to ensure compliance with permit conditions.• Particulate emissions – maintain baghouse pressure gauge records and monitor visual particulate emissions.• Permitting – coordinate permitting of CAPEX projects with the Regional EM as appropriate.• NPDES permit – maintain an accessible copy of the current permit and be familiar with its conditions.• Sediment Control System – coordinate maintenance and operations of the systems as needed.• Discharge monitoring – Conduct required sampling and analysis for submittal of quarterly DMR’s.• Other systems – manage Solid Waste, Universal Waste & SPCC plans including inspections and corrective actions if necessary.• Enforcement – accompany TDEC inspectors during site inspections and prepare inspection reports in a timely manner.Safety• Champion Behavior Based Safety process including training and data gathering.• Administrate and coordinate implementation of the safety program.• Conduct regular inspections with the Safety Committee and coordinate actions to correct deficiencies.• Coordinate training of Contractors and outside vendors.• Conduct and record training as required by the MSHA training plan.• Enforcement – accompany MSHA inspectors during site inspections and prepare inspection reports in a timely manner.• Coordinate training of the Mine Rescue TeamHealth• Investigate work related accidents/incidents and file reports in a timely manner. Let root cause analysis of significant accidents/incidents.• Manage Workers Compensation claims with the assistance of Regional resources.• Manage return to work process for injured Team Members.• Drug Free Workplace – coordinate and administrate pre-employment, random, post-accident and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing.
