Provide human resources support to over 850 thousand retirees and 3.5 million veterans. Operational staff coordinator responsible for command policies, $500 million in contracts and a 2.9 billion dollar budget.

Fort Knox, Kentucky, United States

Responsible for the operations and planning of a diverse organization consisting of 9 Divisions with over 1,100 soldiers and civilians providing direct support to all Army personnel. Oversees the Headquarters budget of over $8 million and the execution of the directorates’ $500 million annual budget. Provide leadership oversight to the following programs: Army Postal/Department of Defense Mail, Casualty and Mortuary Affairs, Personnel Automation Systems, Department of the Army Selection Boards, Military Awards, Retirement Services, Soldier Transition programs and Army Continuing Education.

Pentagon

Serves as the principal advisor to the Army’s most senior personnel officer. The organization is responsible for the personnel readiness and full life-cycle management of the Army’s officer and enlisted personnel through development and oversight of policies for the over one million strong Total Army (Active and Reserve Component). Coordinates, orchestrates and facilitates actions through direct interfaces with the Secretary of the Army, Chief of Staff of the Army, Army staff, other services and subordinate organizations. Key focus areas include recruiting, retention, promotions, contingency planning, diversity and development of associated legislation.
