1) Monitors Singapore Airlines operations to minimise the recurrence of aircraft defects by analysing the defects and recommending corrective and preventive maintenance action. 2) Lead a team of Defect Analysis Engineers to provide technical assistance to LAE during aircraft events (e.g. Recurring defect, RTB, ATO and Delays). Communicate technical information to LAEs by providing recommendations through Recommendation Sheet (RS) to LAE.3) Monitor any significant messages transmitted by AHM and followup with RS after reviewing SAP records, Service Bulletin, Fault Isolation Manual, Service Letters and Aircraft Conditioning Monitoring System Reports.4) Liaise with Airline Technical Service department for detail further recommendation if necessary. 5) Organise and participate in monthly Recurring Defect Committee to address recurring aircraft defect issues.6) Evaluates any new tools or test equipment required to support aircraft maintenance functions. Disseminates information electronically to operation staffs to be used for toolbox briefings.

Oversees all Planning activities1) Develop plans and coordinate with maintenance, engineering services and materials for all modifications, inspection, and repair on fleet aircraft to ensure availability of manpower, materials, tools and equipment, downtime and necessary paper work. Feedback discrepancies to relevant section for resolution.2) Monitor Team's development of maintenance plan for each aircraft into account aircraft time available, complexity of the work and available resources.3) Manage a team of 9 staffs to achieve consistence high fleet dispatch reliability, preventing RIE, no overruns of MJC/MAF/CCS.4) Liaise with technical services and maintenance controllers to address critical work package issues.

1) Usage of AHM, MyBoeingFleet & SAP records to analyze and recommend appropriate troubleshooting plans for aircraft defects. 2) To provide technical support to customers by reviewing incoming discrepancy logs, outstanding defects, DDG/MEL items.3) Analyze all technical delays, maintain records and follow up with preventative actions to preclude maintenance delays.4) Attend to flight delay and provide technical solutions to ground engineers to prevent AOG situation and to minimize delay. 5) Coordinate clearing of Minimum Equipment List (MEL) and Configuration Deviation List (CDL) deferrals with customer and various resource sections6) Coordinate with Airline Representative and monitor various line maintenance activities that may pose an impact on scheduled B777 flight operation.
