Projects were quite diverse over the 20 years of business, but primarily involved web applications, Microsoft technologies. and systems integration with accounting and ERP systems. Projects ranged in scope from targeted SQL design and development, to large full-featured applications, which included database, web front end, work-flow, and integration. I run all aspects of the company's operations, which included hands-on development, specifying projects with the clients, and managing the work of up to 5 employees. The biggest clients of Number Zoo included the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI), the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, and Hanson Bridgett LLP.Machine Learning: probability based, information based, error based, and similarity based. I cofounded Decision Pace in 2009. After developing out the product and establishing a customer base, we received $1.4M in funding in June, 2013. The product is an open platform for creating and delivering data analytic visualizations. I worked as the primary architect and developer for our hybrid cloud architecture and open development platform. I interacted with clients by establishing technical requirements to meet their needs. I led operations and a small group of developers to advance the product. As CTO and board member I led definition of the product and target market.

Barrister purchased Icon Technology in Jan 1999 to enchance their software offering to legal firms. I managed the work of five consultants, and led implementations of our financial data warehouse product. I worked with in-house IT staff of our clients and reported to executives. Specified and led custom development of our products as well as standalone applications.

Developed Windows application called Market Player to connect to stock market feed in real time, displaying results graphically. In addition, computed the fair pricing of options on the fly using the Black-Sholes pricing model based on the price of the underlying security and option expiration. The intended audience was independent day traders.
