CurrentOversee the development and modification of ALEKS math content and input tools for compliance with accessibility needs and requirements.• Mentor and lead math content architects as they adapt content for users with visual impairments.o Provide alternate text to describe figures and algorithms.o Specify form field labels, group labels, headings, and table headers as appropriate, for implementation by programmers.o Test screen-reader interactions.o Apply appropriate colors to text and images, so that they can be seen by a wide audience.• Specify the behaviors of new input tools and improvements to existing tools so that they can be used by individuals with motor and/or visual impairments (via appropriate keyboard and screen-reader interactions), for implementation by software engineers.• Partner with user experience personnel to develop visual elements with sufficient color contrast and readability for individuals with various forms of color blindness.• Consult with both McGraw Hill personnel and external accessibility experts to ensure compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA.• Interact with students, faculty, and support staff to test the efficacy of our methods.Continue to fulfill all of the duties of my last position: Editorial Manager.
