Tellers conduct the everyday business of the banking world which is everyone. I pay your mortgage and cash your birthday checks. More than that I assess the customers personal banking needs and steer them in the direction of a product that will help them meet their goals. As a head teller I will soon be responsible for managing the tellers behind the counter and acting as the supervisor. That includes having answers to customer questions that tellers do not address everyday and doing everyday procedures like balancing the entire branch, ATM, and coin machine as well as maintaining cash levels in the branch by shipping out and receiving cash to and from the FED.

Maintained the working atmosphere of the facility by delegating cleaning duties to other employees, handling deposits every day, placing orders for supplies and any repairs that needed to be made. Actively involved in making sales and giving tours to potential customers as well as reconciling any complaints from existing customers.

Responsible for re-organizing the previous inventory system of a incoming/outgoing journal. Took information from the book and made an excel spreadsheet that allowed me to streamline the inventory of samples as they came into the refridgeration storage and as they were taken out to be tested by the chemists. This new process made the tracking of samples easier and more easliy accessable in the event of an audit or inventory confusion.
