Passionate about the NHS, universal health care and ensuring patients have access to well trained and supported clinical staff.I have had a number of roles in the past as well as working as an NHS GP. I was Chair of Clydebank Local Health Care Co-operative, Vice Chair of West Dunbartonshire Community Health Partnership. I was Chair of the GG&C Area Medical Committee.I have previously chaired Glasgow Local Medical Committee 2003- 2007.
