My current position is a life insurance broker. My parent company is Symmetry Financial Group, also known as Quility. I am licensed in VA, MD, FL, OH and MI. Our main focuses are Mortgage Protection and Debt Free Life. We also do annuities, retirement planning, college savings, disability and Medicare supplements. I have a passion for helping people and this allows me to do just that. I contact people/families who have asked for our services, find out exactly why they need us, and find the product that does what they need it to do at a price they can afford. It is sales and customer service, but most importantly it is relationship building, gaining trust and getting the client to open up to us. This allows us to make an emotional connection which generally results in stickier business.I have worn a variety of hats in my life. I worked for my family's nursery business on two occasions. During school as a laborer, and in my 30's as a landscape designer. I would receive leads from the office, schedule home visits, draw out designs based on the clients specifications, give pricing, complete sales, and follow up to ensure satisfaction. My specialty was incorporating natural stone walls, paths and patios into landscapes that focused on native plants. I learned design by hands on application as a foreman. I learned how to read plans and shoot elevations on the job, as well as make on the spot adjustments at the request of the client. I used machines such as skid steers, front end loaders, and telescoping boom loaders. Drove trucks up to 24' long, both manual and automatic transmission.I have residential electrical experience from rough-ins to finish work. My primary duties were pulling wire and setting up switches, receptacles and fixtures, then installing the proper items once drywall was up. I learned how to read and interpret blueprints on the job. Complied with OSHA standards at all times. I have some non-professional plumbing experience installing irrigation systems at my family's plant nurseries.I grew up on a working cattle farm. I have been driving tractors and such since I was long enough to reach the pedals. By the time I was 16, I was the fastest and most efficient at loading and unloading bales of hay using a front end loader. I am comfortable on any piece of machinery. Give me a day and I will know how to properly run the machine. Give me a month and I will be one of your best operators.I have worked in the restaurant business and have management experience there, as well as telemarketing and courier services.
