Set-up Createl as an independent video & audiovisual production company in Malta producing TVCs and corporate videos for leading companies and Governmental agencies. In 1994 Createl was incorporated into Monarch Advertising Ltd.

Set up the Marketing department and consolidated Sales Departments, coordinated with the IT department to set up a market/sales management information service. Was responsible for the re- branded the Marsovin corporate image. Launched Safari Juices in tetrapak, Fontana spring water and San Paolo range of wines.

Chairman 1980 – 1987, 2010 - 2013(10 years) MADC is the oldest Amateur Theatre Club in Malta set up in 1910 by members of the British armed forces. Alan has been a member of the club since 1966 and on the Committee since 1980 serving in various post - Chairman for ten years, Hon Secretary for two seasons, PRO in between the previous roles and currently PRO.

Negotiating contracts with Multinational and Maltese companies for airtime, sponsorships and production of commercials

A senior producer-director with Malta Television, involved in drama, magazine programs and documentaries. Directed MTV's Award winning documentary at the European Union's, Dublin Folklore Festival in1969.

Monitoring of local broadcasting media within the parameters of the Broadcasting Ordinance of Malta. Also involved in producing cultural documentaries and educational TV programs in collaboration with the British Council after an intensive Production training course in UK.
