Driven by a passion and obsession with complicated logical systems, I studied Mathematics and Physics at the best university in my region immediately after leaving public schooling. During this period I spent much of my free time self-teaching and tinkering with programming. By the time I had finished my Bachelor's degree it had become clear that software engineering was my true calling.I returned to University to undertake a Master's degree in Information Technology and elected all of the most advanced computer-science related courses available. I even negotiated special exemptions from the dean to participate in courses not usually available to the degree. Advanced data-structures and algorithms, systems programming, network programming, highly concurrent software, and artificial intelligence just to name a handful of the topics I covered. All whilst absorbing as much as I could about industry best-practices.Shortly after attaining my Master's degree, I was hired as one of Sisa-Tech's first employees to work on a new research and development project: Vorteil, a cutting-edge new kernel for running highly specialised immutable virtual machines. During my time at Sisa-Tech I have been the secondary contributor to the kernel itself and the lead architect and software engineer for nearly every tool and server Sisa-Tech has produced.
