Cadence Australia was one of a number of Project Management firms engaged by the NSW Department of Education & Training to oversee the Managing Contractor and administer the Building Education Revolution (BER) Program. This program was funded by the Commonwealth Government. Alan was the Region Manager, the Authorized Personal & Senior Project Manager for the Hunter Central Coast. The region has 242 Primary schools. Each school had a building program ranging in value from $250,000.to $3,000,000 depending upon student numbers within each school. The total value of the region’s program was $450 million to be completed by April 2011. This program was been completed on time and on budget.
