Using web-based platforms and years of experiential learning, I strive to maintain a portal and reference point to resources, tips, and tools to build your personal competencies towards professional goals.

Based on my breadth and depth of applied knowledge and skills, I was competitively selected to lead the U.S. Army Garrison as Garrison Manager for the Detroit Arsenal. My parent command, Installation Management Command (IMCOM), issues guidance which I execute through comprehensive leadership support to the Senior Commander delivering Garrison operations and processes supporting 8K installation personnel and over 43K community patrons. I increased the level of proficiency and coordination of 16 direct report staff and 42 senior rated staff by mentoring them on program management skills while instilling an atmosphere of dignity and respect. My actions provide an atmosphere which influences the 550+ member Garrison, resulting in both a culture of trust and valued diversity. I directed actions which resulted in over $170M worth of construction and renovation projects to sustain and improve conditions across $176B worth of infrastructure and assets, delivering high quality and best cost services to our customers. I exemplify the term ^Building The Bench^, as I actively follow my motto of ^Train 3 Replacements, Move On, Move Up, and Do Not Take Your Last Job With You^. My efforts have fostered professional development for nearly 100% of the Garrison team. Assessing problems using proven gap analysis and business process improvement tools like Lean/Six Sigma, I have driven improvements which have allowed the Garrison to remain size neutral while the installation population has increased by 20% with respectively increased building bootprints. Supported by my leadership drive in quality and performance improvement, the Garrison has been duly recognized for multiple awards by the Army as an ACOE Exemplary Practice Winner for 2010, as well as the State of Michigan distinction as one of their 101 Best & Brightest Employers, as well as our environmental programs by both the Michigan Dept. of Environmental Quality and their Dept. of Natural Resources & Environment.

-I served as the Wing Commander's Advisor on all Human Relations and Diversity Objectives within a 1,700+ member organization. I represent Command during public events and briefings. I compile reports and perform trend analysis on unit climate assessments. Consulting with EEO, MEO, IG, and SJA on policy matters for Command, I drove multiple improvements in policy and program execution while reducing leader-airmen tensions across the command. I implement and foster the Wing Mentoring program. I instruct Leadership Development and Human Relations seminars to unit membership on recurring basis.

Leveraging interpersonal communications and trustworthiness, I supported over 100 customer accounts across a geographic region of Michigan's Lower Peninsula, focused on fluid power components in pneumatic and hydraulic disciplines, as well as electrical enclosures and electro-mechanical systems.
