CfoApm Terminals Kaliningrad Llc (/Apmt International Bv) Sep 2007 - Sep 2008Kaliningrad Region, Russian FederationBrown Field Site. To construct a container terminal in Kaliningrad, Russia. Base Case: HQ Q4 2006 Regional Due Diligence. On arrival it was clear to me that there was a large gap to real construction capex and forecasted opex. Revenues were reasonable assuming the parent, Moller Maersk, will call to this terminal. On proving the GAP and the impact of the GFC the project was shelved. Main duties:- correct the company structure, - forecast, budgeting and cash management- purchasing negotiations (value to date 5mil$ local/international suppliers), - update due diligence, and board meeting presentations and discussions of project progress. Explaining to the board that they had got it wrong was a challenging process.
