Columbia West is a locally owned, full-service geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, special inspections and materials testing firm located in Vancouver, Washington. We serve a broad territory in SW Washington and NW Oregon providing a full range of consulting from geotechnical feasibility and site characterization to earthwork/ground improvement QA/QC and building inspection. As a Project Geologist and Project Manager, I organize and conduct geotechnical feasibility investigations, geohazard assessments, slope stability assessments, liquefaction analyses, pavement design and overlay analyses, and soil infiltration tests using several locally prescribed methods. I also provide materials testing and special inspection bids and help manage a crew of service-oriented inspectors to navigate projects through agency specifications for testing and building inspection.
