Responsible for leading the Ox-Cam PFR Pathfinder project, one of three national Environment Agency funded pathfinders raising awareness of property flood resilience (PFR). Led by North Northamptonshire Council with a budget in excess of £750k, partnered with eight Local Authorities and organisations across the Flood and Water sector from the Ox-Cam Arc region. With multiple partners across a wide variety of organisations and five different workstreams, this was a complex project to co-ordinate and manage which included community and business engagement, creating a demonstration PFR flood trailer and a demonstration PFR property and professional services center. Due to the national lockdown with Covid-19 significant contingency and risk planning, mitigation measures and innovation was required throughout to deliver the projects objectives successfully.

Responsible for the delivery of the £1.2m externally funded NESS fuel poverty project. Representing the Council and accountable for the overall outcomes of the project, budget and governance, working with lead delivery partners, stakeholders and external funding body. Integrated the project and wider fuel poverty project principles into Public Health services at the Council benefiting both the project and the Council. Co-ordinated a successful audit of the project with the various delivery partners and funding body. Successfully managed and delivered the project on-time on-budget and greatly exceeded KPI’s and deliverables resulting in the project being extended and receiving additional funding due to its high ROI.

Technical Sales Manager responsible for driving Heat Interface Unit (HIU) sales primarily through the specification and tender market. With a remit across the entire UK (excluding London and South East), working and building relationships with M&E Consultants, Developers, Main Contractors and Housing Associations, providing advice on design, installation and on-going support for Communal and District Heating projects. My role involved assisting Investors & Developers, Main Contractors, M&E Consultants, Housing Associations and M&E Contractors through the full specification sales lifecycle and associated RIBA stages. Delivered CPD’s to key clients, M&E Consultants and Contractors on "Key considerations for Heat Network Design"

Covering all of England except the north east, I delivered large scale projects and schemes through partnerships with local authorities and external partners. As the nominated HHCRO product champion, I also represented our business unit within British Gas to other internal businesses, promoting efficiencies and cross-functional selling. Presented with National Award in Westminster for the establishment of the partnership between British Gas and Northamptonshire County Council. Responsible for delivering over 40 new business partners for British Gas across the UK.

Managed a team that delivered energy efficiency projects to 17 schools with a total value of £237,000, providing technical expertise and ensuring that technical compliance for funding was met, preparing all the bids for the programme with 100% success rate, liaising with the funding organisation and ensuring all projects were ready for delivery. Project Manager for the Northamptonshire Energy Saving Service (NESS), a £255,000 project to deliver fuel poverty measures, debt management and benefits advice case work. My role involved developing the project and had strategic responsibility for putting together a coordinated countywide bid. Appointed as county lead and project manager for the scheme which involved the co-ordination of multiple stakeholders, agency organisations and the 7 districts within the county. NESS won a Green Apple Award 2013, a national award for the built environment.
