The position of Senior HSE Advisor reporting directly to the Project managers and provide support to the project management team and project personnel. From November 2012 position of the lead HSE Advisor on the largest project Subsea 7 Norway had undertaken, the Martin Linge SURF Project for client Total. • To promote Critical Safety Behaviours Programme, setting the tone and leading by example.• Responsible for the efficient, timely, accurate and cost effective management and delivery of the function's activities within the designated area of responsibility.• Present monthly HSE statistical performance both internally and to the Client.• Support project leadership in the implementation of the HSE management system.• Responsible for the co-ordination, preparation and delivery of Project HSE documentation including identifying project performance drivers & implement project specific KPIs where appropriate.• Ensure appropriate incident investigation level is undertaken. Present findings / corrective measures to management.• Chair and facilitate the risk assessments process for offshore and onshore project activities.• Auditing of sub-contractors HSE management systems in order to ensure compliance with project requirements.• Ensure HSEQ Lessons Learned processes are performed in accordance with best practice and assist in ensuring that Subsea 7 realise the benefits of the process while striving to mitigate risk associated with works in the future. • Liaise with Supplier to ensure project HSE requirements are met and intervene where level is below expectation. • Communicate project HSE matters to the HSE team and company personnel.• Deliver project HSE presentations, briefings, awareness /training workshops to the project and offshore teams.

.Responsibility to ensure that contractor health and safety systems, goals and objectives are aligned with the project requirements. This was managed through audits, frequent visits and the mentoring of Suppliers where appropriate. The main activity was the procuring of pipelay equipment, associated winches and cranes for a new build Pipelay vessel, with fabrication works taking place predominantly in France. Main responsibilities: • Encourage and promote Safety, Health and Environmental awareness in all project related activities and worksites.• Providing support, advice and mentoring to all project and worksite personnel on matters related to HSE.• External audits of sub-contractor activities and worksites in the UK, France and Norway. • Development of a Project HSE plan and other relevant HSE documentation in support of the project.• Review of contractor HSE Plans and associated documents.• Providing support to ensure that non-conformances, defects and deficiencies relating to HSE matters are reported, and that corrective actions are taken to prevent/mitigate risk of re-occurrence.• Participating in HSE investigation and reporting, together with providing recommendations and corrective actions where required.• Participation in and review of risk assessments internally and externally.

HSE Advisor working predominantly on project for client Venture Production (North Sea Developments) Limited. Also assisting on other project as required.Promoting an effective HSE culture, produce and review of HSE documentation (safety plans, interfacedocuments, emergency response documents, risk assessment reports etc.).• Support project leadership in implementing the corporate Business Management System.• Align project HSE Plan, objectives and systems with Client and Company requirements.• Participation in and chairmanship of the review of hazard identification, risk assessment and lessons learnt teams.• Project KPI and goal setting, statistical analysis and reporting, incident/accident investigation with regular reporting and presentations to management and clients.• Ensuring vessel assurance is completed for company and third party vessels prior to mobilisations.• Auditing and review of subcontractors HS&E management systems and worksites.• Subcontractor liaison and effective liaison with external bodies, • Ensuring project emergency response awareness and readiness prior to mobilisations.• Attending mobilisations to support the works ensure subcontractors attending the vessels were in compliance with Subsea 7 requirements and to promote the client and Subsea 7 HSE expectations.• Travelling offshore to provide HSE support during execution of project work scopes as required.
