I am a highly motivated and disciplined security professional with excellent communication and conflict management resolution skills. I have 24 years experience within the business across various sectors and have managed a team of around 150 officers and 15 team leaders, I have worked my way up the ladder from security officer to security manager and I'm fully aware of both job roles and responsibilities. I managed 6500 hours for the NHS portfolio and delivered the service to the standard’s that were set by the client. I have a can do approach to everything and my saying is I get things done, the NHS are a very creditable organisation and I have delivered what the client has asked for on every occasion. I have managed a range of security sites from NHS, corporate to a high tier COMAH site in Chemring Energetics and a top tier MOD site in Thales.I worked really closely with my client contacts to ensure site requirements were delivered, I implemented new SOPS and other aspects of security operations for sites and ensured the staff were trained to the relevant standards. I am a people person and very approachable in every aspect, I bring people and teams together and have a one team approach ethos. I will always go the extra mile for the company/client and staff to deliver a seamless unrivalled service package and will promote brand awareness. I would effectively manage the contract and deliver a world class service to the client and ensure the contract is fulfilled in every aspect, ensuring I build a strong rapport with the client and staff to deliver the security provisions that are required. I would fully contribute to the success of the company by giving 100% dedication to ensure my hard work ethic shows. I am a very hands on manager and will help out as and when required and do everything that the business requires of me to make it a success. I would be looking to minimise any risk factors using the 3 steps of risk management, risk assessment, risk control and contingency planning this giving me a the best opportunity to deal with any situation that may arise and to communicate this to the relevant persons quickly, communication is paramount in any business. I have conducted a range courses over the past few years that I feel are beneficial, one being my CMI first line management.
