I work with CDOT, Park and Teller Counties, and private individuals to control noxious weeds on those properties. Noxious weeds are plants brought from other countries that have no natural enemies in this habitat. I help develop weed management plans for these counties and work with the Upper Arkansas Valley Weed Management Cooperative to obtain grant funds for these activities.

Member of Simply Speaking Toastmasters, Summit Toastmasters, Excelsior Advanced Club and Toastability Toastmasters.

I managed and conducted education programs in 4-H, agriculture, community development and consumer science for this county. I organized the 4-H state speech contest in Fort Collins for 8 years. I particpated in the Family Community Leadership program designed to involve more women in community and political leadership. I helped teach the Colorado Ranch Management School for several years to ranchers in the state.
