Technip Umbilicals Ltd. manufacture Subsea Umbilicals for the global Oil and Gas Industry.Timely design, manufacture and integration of a multi-million pound Hardware Package into the £65 million TOTAL MOHO NORD project was one of my most satisfying contributions to the business. I also found CAPEX project work at Technip very rewarding i.e. a site supervisory role on the business critical VHAM refurbishment project. H&S assurance, Project Planning, Contractor Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management and Technical Interface provision were some areas of my expertise used.

Based in Newton Aycliffe, England, Tekmar Energy produce Subsea Cable Protection Systems for Offshore Wind Turbines. I managed key multi-million pound projects (e.g. the Meerwind and Westermost Rough Offshore Windfarms) taking full responsibility for safety, specification (client technical interface), schedule and budget. An extremely satisfying aspect of the role was the full project ownership i.e. responsibility for, and input into conceptual design, as well as offshore attendance to supervise the installation of the finished product.
