I have strong leadership experience in a large Customer focused operation environment, managing the day of operations activities and being the final decision maker.I am into my 38th year with Rail. I have added value to the organisation in a range of different areas including Customer Service, People Management, Station Operations, Depot Experience, Train Cleaning, Change Management and Working with Train Crew. Working in these areas has contributed to my success in senior management roles in the last 27 years as I have a thorough understanding of the organisation at an operational and functional level. I have enhanced my leadership, customer service, station operations,train cleaning and train crewing experiences. Through my work experience, I have developed a strong passion for Customer Service, which has always been the key focus of Sydney Trains. I have extensive experience in supervising and managing teams of people exceeding 300 in number expanding over 22 geographical locations. As a Senior Manager, I have instilled the same customer service values in my team. I have developed my Managers and Cleaners in Charge, providing them with the motivation, ownership and autonomy to apply improved changes to local customer service. Customer service standards and team morale have greatly improved under my leadership. I achieve customer satisfaction by leading by example and guiding my team to put the customer first, be accessible and remain positively engaged with customers at all times no matter what the duty they are performing. I am proud to be associated with the management team that improved Sydney Trains Customer Satisfaction from 87% to 91%. My focus was in line with Sydney Trains vision and values of delivering safe, reliable and clean rail services for the people of Sydney. Overall, I feel that I not only bring experience into any role I work in, but also possess a strong drive to contribute further to the success of Sydney Trains.
