Starting with an App First approach and cascading that through the mobile and desktop sites-User research. Using research to map out content and gain an understanding of how users interact with our services. Always keeping an ear open in research sessions for those little gems that can slip under the radar-Writing UI copy for website and app. Headlines, body copy, calls to action, navigation labels, error messages, member journeys and FAQs-User testing and research to test ideas. From A/B tests on the live site to one on one interviews in person or online. Making sure everything is solving real problems and meeting the needs of the audience-Sharing writing expertise and ideas. Keeping conversations going with other writers across the business in sessions like the Content Cabin and helping others build up writing skills-Developing writing accessibility guidelines-Optimisation. Working closely with the Optimisation Team to provide variants for A/B testing, reviewing/analysing results and applying to future content-Data analysis. Using tools like Google Analytics and Content Square to review current user behaviour and analyse where changes might be made to improve experiences-Working within agile product teams alongside the Product Designers and Developers to create end-to-end experiences
