I am a seasoned policy leader known for innovative solutions, strategic foresight, and passion for driving impactful policy change. I am currently the Senior Research and Program Fellow at the Perth USAsia Centre, where I lead research and programming efforts on United States' political analysis, cyber and technology policy, and democratic resilience in the Indo-Pacific. I am also currently a representative in the United States Studies Centre's Women in the Alliance Network, an initiative that showcases and gives voice to female leaders working at the heart of the Australia-United States strategic alliance. I also serve on the Board of Directors at the Data Federation Lab, an innovative tech startup with a mission to revolutionise data privacy. Finally, I provide freelance independent consultancy services to startups, political actors and small-medium sized entities on national security and technology policy, governance, and public administration. As a former diplomat of the Australian Government, serving in Washington D.C., I previously led the charge on ground-breaking initiatives to address online harms and criminal exploitation of technology. My work has resulted in real world outcomes, including initiatives announced by United States President Joseph Biden and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. I have led policy development, international negotiations, and the implementation of global stakeholder engagement strategies spanning a diverse range of tech, national security and law enforcement issues.
