In the position of Underwriting Assistant I assist the Underwriting team with renewals, new business and endorsements as well as answer phone calls from Brokers, assisting them with administration and EBind queries. I am also responsible for preparing Group renewal follow ups, maintaining and tracking the renewal spreadsheet and ensuring dispatch in required time frames. I prepare all new business administration including quotes, coversheets and updating the quote register.

Simmons Civil Contracting provides project outcomes for clients through Integrated Management System, which includes a Framework of Quality, Work Health and Safety and Environmental Systems.As Receptionist/Accounts Administrator I was the first point of contact for clients, answering the phones and greeting visitors to the office. I also provided accounts and administration support to the Accounts Manager and the team. This included data entry and following up of invoices, checking statements, attending budget meetings and preparing the board room for meetings.
